Working in the office this morning and listening to some great tunes while I work....Brad Paisley at the moment. I hope everyone has a great New Years. Stay safe.
Lots of great things going on at The Treasure Box to make our program even better for you. Don't forget to thank the wonderful volunteers at the distributions sites that give of their time to make this program available to our communities. From those that get up early to pick the boxes, those setting up at the sites, those you see when you get there and those you don't that working behind the scenes during the month answering calls in the office and handling the paper work. Each one is so important and they are our heros!!!
Have a fabulous day everyone!
Teresa
The Treasure Box packages together $60-$85 dollars of grocery store food into boxes that are designed to feed a family of four for about a week, or a senior citizen for almost a month. The Treasure Box contains between 22-25 pounds of high quality, frozen foods of which 10-12 pounds are proteins like chicken, beef, pork or seafood, as well as vegetables, fruit, a side dish and a dessert. All this for only $32!

A Note from Teresa's Desk
I just wanted to take a minute to welcome two more sites to the High Desert Treasure Box....Glad Tidings Church of Lancaster(42911 6th Street East) and Community Therapies of Palmdale(1543 Suite D Palmdale Blvd.). We look forward to working together with both sites to reach a greater portion of our Antelope Valley Community. They will both start taking orders online as of Wednesday December 9th and once they have established times for costumers to place orders at their offices we will post that information on our local website www.HDtreasurebox.com and on the national site as well www.thetreasurebox.org.
